something i learned a while back. Everything that anyone has ever done is "Understandable". Even what Hitler did in his life, crazy as it may seem, everything that anyway has done or will do is understandable given the circumstances, if you could put yourself in their shoes you would understand why the choice they made seemed to make sense to them. Not everything is "Acceptible" not acceptible in the senes that we can no longer accept those who do such things but rather that even though some things are understandable that does not make them right. So knowing this when we hear of someone doing something that sounds really crazy and we can't comprehend why they might do it we must ask them and find out what exactly was going through their head so we might be able to understand it. From there, from relating with the fact that what they did was understandable and admitting that with them will move you much closer to being able to relay to them that even though it was understandable that doesn't mean that it was right. And furthermore that the right thing to do is often difficult to do but to encourage them with the fact that I John 1:9 and I John 2:1-2 says no matter what we have done wrong we will be forgiven it and why we will be forgiven it!
